Great little restaurant with kind staff and yummy food! My friend and I popped in on a weekday afternoon and everything on the lunch buffet looked fresh, despite the place being almost empty. I had the salad bar which was fresh and loaded with topping choices. French and ranch dressings were both delicious. My friend had the bacon cheeseburger and she said it was cooked well. The portion was huge and the fries were crispy and fresh.

We made our way once again to The Old Brick house for their fish , chicken & shrimp buffet. Also had the Great, noodles with sweet stewed tomatoes. This was our 15th visit here & they have always had a very good buffet. Our server was a very nice & polite young lady. She came buy & checked on us quite often. The interior & atmosphere of this old establishment is one of a kind. We plan on coming back many more times....

This is a very cute restaurant that feels like you're in someone's home. They have a Great Buffet with veggies and fried chicken that tastes like mom cook your food. They also have a fully stocked bar which is great for dinner and a decent Chardonnay.

We had a great time at the old brick house! Great little nuggets of history. Very tasty fried chicken. You can’t go wrong with America’s staple of mashed potatoes and gravy. General a server and she did a great job remembering who had what and keeping cups full. The turkey club was quite delicious. And their battered onion rings and fried mushrooms were off the charts. It has both old world, charm, and small town cafe feel.

We were in town for an event. We decided we wanted some fried chicken. This place was the only place still open that served fried chicken. I called about 20 mins before closing, ordered an 8 piece and 2 orders of fries. We arrived to the resturrants. And im assuming the owner told me, she dropped some fresh chicken for me. Cause she wanted to make sure I had the best experience. I would have been happy with some off the buffet. But let me tell you, im glad I waited. When I removed the foil, there was some of the most beautiful golden brown chicken I have even seen. Perfect. Smelled amazing. After about 20 mins to left it cool off lol. Finally got to try it. It tasted better then it looked, juicy, tender, crunchy skin. The best fried chicken I have even had. She didnt have to do that, especially 20 mins before closing. 10 out of 10. Never been to St Gen before but now im looking forward to going back and trying what else they have to offer.
